Volume 2 of the PRIMA General Observer Science Book is now available on ArXiv.

This new volume, following up on the successful engagement for Volume 1, presents 120 community science cases enabled by PRIMA's far-IR capabilities, spanning galaxy evolution, ISM physics, star and planet formation, exoplanets, compact objects, and Solar System science. Compared to the cases in Volume 1, Volume 2 cases leverage new time estimates from the PRIMA Exposure Time Calculator, as well as updated information on instrument and telescope performance. Collectively, science cases in Volume 2 also cover a much broader range of topics, addressing more than 90% of the scientific questions and discovery areas in the National Academy of Sciences' Pathways to Discovery in Astronomy and Astrophysics for the 2020s, demonstrating the increase and diversification of community support behind PRIMA's concept.

The PRIMA team is grateful to all the authors who provided contributed science cases, producing a rich and exciting snapshot of the future of far-infrared astronomy.
